The Boat Docking 2.0 app runs on IOS, Android, Windows and MacOS and is perfect if you want all the maneuvers explained. Techniques and maneuvers are explained step by step with animations. A simulator also ensures that you can try out the maneuvers yourself under different conditions.
The Virtual Skipper Trainer is a pure harbor maneuver simulator that leaves nothing to be desired. However, it only runs on Windows or MacOS. Different boats can be selected here, ship parameters can be set and the physics engine has been refined.

App: Boat Docking 2.0: Only standard joysticks such as the XBOX game controller or Logitech Gamepad are supported here. The joystick controls are assigned automatically.
This should also work on the MAC, you just have to make sure that the joystick is accepted by the Mac.
App: Virtual Skipper Trainer: We are constantly testing new joysticks and will publish them here. The buttons can be freely assigned in the VST.
Normally all joysticks that are recognized by Windows and adhere to the standards for assignment should be accepted.
Currently supported: XBOX (no wireless), Logitech Gamepad, Ship Console from VR-Insight, Logitech Flight Yoke System.

Installation and Download
If you have bought the product in our shop (www.blue-2.at/shop) you will receive an email from Digistore24, our retailer, and you will receive the access data for each app. So please keep the email safe and also look for it in your SPAM folder.
You have been sent your username and password in the email. Please click on the download button and select MacOS as the download.
Attention: Please do not pass the license on to third parties.
Also check whether the app is cross-platform compatible. If so, you can install this app on Windows, MacOS, IOS and Android.
After downloading, a PKG (installation file) will be downloaded to your Mac. Please open it by double-clicking after downloading.
The MAC installs the APP in the /applications folder. You can then display or search for the APP under the Application Launcher.
Activate Mac
When you start the app for the first time, you will get a login window. Here you can enter your details from the email after purchase. It is best to do this with copy & paste so that the entries are correct.
You can activate the app 3 times, so it can run on 3 devices.
After the login is checked, the message:
The app has been activated successfully should appear.
This window will no longer appear on this device. Even if you get an update, your device will remain registered.

An EXE (installation file) will now be downloaded to your Windows computer. Please open it by double-clicking after the download.

If you bought the app in the App-Store, you must first give us your E-Mail address. Only then will we send you access (with login details and download-link)
To do this, go to the Settings menu in the app. Here, click on License options. You should see an option to enter your E-Mail address here. As soon as you have entered your E-Mail address, you will immediately receive an email with login details.

Unlocking devices
If you want to install the APPS on tablets, you must first search for the APP in the stores using the name of the APP. You can then download it for free. For IOS, please go to the Appstore on Android in Google Play.
When you start the APPS, you will see the following start screen with the login mask. If you bought the APP in our shop, you can enter the username and password on the tablets and activate the APP (see email after purchase).
Attention: Passing on licenses to third parties is not permitted. Please keep the login data and password key in a safe place. Without this key, the APP can no longer be activated.
We have 2 years of maintenance (including updates) from the time of purchase. This means you also get all content updates.

Our APPS in version 2.0 can be activated 3 times. This means that you can register the APP on 3 devices. The APP only needs to be registered on a device the first time you start it. Registration is no longer required even with updates.
With the Hafenmanöver 2.0 app, this can be on Windows, MacOS, Android and IOS.

What answers can the system provide and what do they mean?
The product was installed correctly.
Everything is OK: The product is now running on the device and a license has been used. The code is no longer requested for Update3s either: Attention: If the program is removed and reinstalled, a license will be used again. Please click Return License under the options first.
An internet connection is required for registration
It may happen that the APP cannot access the Internet or that a firewall or web shield (McAffee) does not allow this. Please deactivate this service briefly to register.
You have reached the maximum number of registrations.
Our APP counts every time you click on the register button. Please check whether the APP is still available on a mobile phone or old laptop. If you return the license, you can then register it again on a new device.
User and key are incorrect. The app was not registered.
You probably made a typo when entering the username and password. Please pay attention to upper and lower case letters and that there are no spaces at the front or back. It is best to use copy and paste.

First steps in the APP Virtual Skipper Trainer
The Virtual Skipper Trainer is our professional tool when it comes to harbor maneuvers. With this APP, almost all maneuvers can be visualized. Different boats with different parameters can be selected and situations can be recreated yourself
The video shows the first steps with the tool, which runs on Windows and MacOS.
